mark_q 0 Posted January 13, 2008 I see you managed to get one slice as a souvenir ;-) Very smart choice to turn the sky this intense saturated as it turns this scene to a true goldmine. Very effective, well done. Link to comment
lonebearimages 0 Posted January 14, 2008 Talk about rocks! Wow! This is fabulous! I love the composition and the light! What a terrific contrast between the yellows and buff colors of the sedimentary rocks and the deep blues of the sky. The split-rock has real character. This a fantastic work of fine art, JC! Excellent work! Cheers! Chris Link to comment

laurentlacoste 0 Posted January 19, 2008 I love it. Great composition and incredible colours. The sky looks as though it were lit up from behind. I also like your choppy crop on the right. Beautiful. Link to comment
jeffl7 0 Posted January 19, 2008 My first impression was of Jonah's whale, springing out of the landscape and gasping for air. The colors (those exaggerated) are absolutely wonderful. Link to comment
bretsch 0 Posted January 21, 2008 Thank you Jeff, it's funny that so far you're the only one that has seen what I saw. My first impression of that rock was that it looks like a sperm whale. As of the colors, I was a bit dubitante about the sky, but decided to take the risk anyway, I'm glad that so far it seems to be a success. Once again, thank you for commenting on it, it means a lot. Cheers! Link to comment

Emmanuel Enyinwa 0 Posted January 26, 2008 Is a rock rhen a soft place? As usual, with your work, the colors literally jump off the page. Another winner. Link to comment
