ChevronTexaco's Richmond Oil Refinery.

Took this shot from a bus while on a tour of the refinery. Any

advice or criticism is welcome.

Brings back memories. I worked at that refinery as an intern engineer while I was getting my degree at Berkeley. Im really glad that I cant smell the scene through your photography. Every morning a new smell and none of them good. Hope it was one of the better smelling days for your visit.

Pic looks a bit cluttered to me- especially the power lines above, and the steam seems a bit too obscuring I think- tough to wait for the perfect moment when the bus is on its way though.

I think the steam is fine because it doesn't appear to be obstructing anything important, but the powerlines are a bit much. And I'm not sure the asphalt does anything for me.
