animalu 0 Posted January 6, 2001 A beautiful piece of work! The lighting and shadows in combination with that awsome sky keep me looking at this one. Great work. Link to comment
david_goldfarb 1 Posted January 6, 2001 Nice work. A red filter can often overly dramatize, but here the red filter brings out the sweeping lines in the clouds, matching the contrast in the fence and the shadows, giving the image a strong feeling of motion. Link to comment
rachmaninov 0 Posted January 11, 2001 Está na realidade muito boa. Merece todo o crédito. Estás cada vez melhor. Parabéns Miguel! Link to comment
robert_johnson7 0 Posted January 26, 2001 Rich tones and bags of contrast...my kind of B/W lovely Link to comment
fsagues 0 Posted March 1, 2001 I think that photos like this make you love B&W (even more). All in it is perfect. Congratulations. Link to comment
mr 0 Posted March 17, 2001 Truly remarkable--I keep looking at it over and over. Love the sky, the lines, the shadows. It comes together in sort of a "decisive moment" of nature! Link to comment
jen_doughty 0 Posted March 21, 2001 Let me say that I do like the photograph. I agree with what everyone has to say about it. With one exception of course: My sister has almost the exact same photo hanging in her living room. I am not saying you stole someone else's work, but I do not think this qualifies for such a high originality rating when you can buy almost the same pic from Corbis.com. Link to comment
ian_holmes 0 Posted April 2, 2001 Beautiful! The kind of picture we could all aspire to. Link to comment
sheying 0 Posted April 25, 2001 Only average marks for originality (waning sunlight through picket fence), but that is more than compensated for in execution. This is a beautiful photo, superb composition and technique. I would be proud to call it mine. Link to comment
cajunboy 0 Posted April 26, 2001 This is the kind of picture that I like. Clouds in a dark blue sky are great for B&W, and great capture of the shadows. I wonder what that object is on the horizon, does anyone know? Link to comment
alissa_king 0 Posted April 27, 2001 Absolutely beautiful! This artist's entire portfolio is worth viewing. One thing I particularly like in his Fences folder is the way he captures the clouds in the sky. Is that simply perfect lighting? or luck? or does he manipulate the photo in the darkroom somehow? How does one do that? I am very impressed. Link to comment
heiko_mausolf 0 Posted August 29, 2001 I really love this one. Looks like it has been printed beautifully. Nice contrast and texture, the composition is spot-on. Very well done. Link to comment
kevin_mcglothlin 0 Posted September 20, 2001 Great image. The contrast is impecable, the framing perfect. The clouds remind me of a fall or winter day at the beach after the tourist and snow birds have all headed south. This is the kind of photograph that can make me take a mental vacation just by viewing it. Link to comment
