At first glimpse, rather nice. has a different than expected

perspective.

 

I wonder whatformat this was actually photographed on. . is it cropped or done with something like a 6x10cm format?

Picture takes on the tones of a watercolor painting with the back fence and the colors blending throughout the scene. Very unique combination of colors.

This is a great photo, the colors and the space are very effective, etc etc. I always hate to mention dried up ideas and cliches, but I do suspect, in this case, that a 3rds compositioning with the space moving to the left would strengthen this and maybe put it on another level (oddly, by following classic formal nonsense) - it just looks better when you can see where the subject's gaze is traveling, 1 other question, 250th sec at 300mm - tripod? Stablization lens? Some amount of softness is inherent in the image if none of these apply, good photo!
