michelle_cox 0 Posted July 28, 2002 I don't care much for the "UFO", but you have guts shooting a sign that says "no photography". :) Is it true that they're allowed to use deadly force against people trying to take pictures, or just a UL? Even if it's not true, you're still braver than me... Link to comment
robert_kennedy 0 Posted July 28, 2002 Let's see....pretty much a 100% digitally rendered image. All Photo Shopped... Yeah, it will get a bunch of 10/10s and be made POW.... Link to comment
ed_gass_donnelly 0 Posted July 28, 2002 The whole picture is CGI so I don't think there's anything too brave about it! A solid job of 3D rendering, but calling it's really stretching te boundary of what one considers a photograph since no camera nor film were apparently used. Link to comment
choen 0 Posted July 28, 2002 Haha, very funny. If you do want a REAL photo of a UFO, go here http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=856235. And there are 4 more of the same thing in the same folder. The prints came back with a note from the lab that said 'Negative dusty'. Even the guy who worked there can't believe his eyes. mike_biuso 0 Posted July 29, 2002 I know it's not a photo. But, what I did takes so much more thought and effort than taking a photograph, so you should appreciate it just as much as one. And it's not "Photo Shopped" at all, Robert. Link to comment
michelle_cox 0 Posted August 1, 2002 I guess I need to work on my photographic eye. Other than the "UFO", I thought it was a real photo. Now that I know it's completely fake, I actually appreciate it less. I dabble a bit in digital effects and have nothing against them, but I wouldn't put them up for critique on a photography forum.
