The Fan

The photograph was taken from two levels above and the section where

the seats are is sloped downward. It was hard to get the lines

straight. Is the cropping okay? I will post the original below (if I

can) so you can see the difference. Any comments or suggestions will

be appreciated.

I think the crop is just fine. It is much more interesting than the original, so it seems you've achieved what you were going for. Nice lines, good composition

you can keep second guessing yourself on the crop, till the game actually starts...

Even the colour of his shirt seems to work (makes me think of Wimbledon).

 

Maybe a couple of rows from the bottom of the frame would help balance the shot if balanced is important to you in this image.

Well seen and well cropped. Congrats on a good one.

Excellent job using a touch of color to spice up an otherwise monocrome image. The man is well placed and the composition seems good.

 

Other than that I don't feel there is much else to say.

MUST'VE BEEN A HECK OF A GAME! :-). INTERESTING HOW THE HORIZON LINES NEAR THE TOP ARE ALMOST SQUARE, BUT GET LESS AND LESS SO AS YOU LOOK DOWN. GREAT SHOT, & VERY VERY WELL SEEN

I like this. It's simple but keeps my intrested. For some reson I keep wishing the guy was sitting a seat over but thats me and it's very trivial.
