darin_burt 0 Posted July 29, 2002 The photograph was taken from two levels above and the section where the seats are is sloped downward. It was hard to get the lines straight. Is the cropping okay? I will post the original below (if I can) so you can see the difference. Any comments or suggestions will be appreciated. Link to comment
warren_silva 0 Posted July 29, 2002 I think the crop is just fine. It is much more interesting than the original, so it seems you've achieved what you were going for. Nice lines, good composition Link to comment
bobby_r 0 Posted July 29, 2002 A little early, are we? you can keep second guessing yourself on the crop, till the game actually starts... Link to comment
mike_sea 0 Posted August 1, 2002 Nice shot Darin. Even the colour of his shirt seems to work (makes me think of Wimbledon). Maybe a couple of rows from the bottom of the frame would help balance the shot if balanced is important to you in this image. Mike Sea Link to comment
Wayne Melia 6,083 Posted August 20, 2002 Well seen and well cropped. Congrats on a good one. Link to comment
scott_esposito 0 Posted September 9, 2003 Excellent job using a touch of color to spice up an otherwise monocrome image. The man is well placed and the composition seems good. Other than that I don't feel there is much else to say. Link to comment
chrisd1 0 Posted July 27, 2004 Very well observed and well cropped too. I am fond of loneliness ! 6/6 Link to comment
jmoody 0 Posted September 14, 2004 MUST'VE BEEN A HECK OF A GAME! :-). INTERESTING HOW THE HORIZON LINES NEAR THE TOP ARE ALMOST SQUARE, BUT GET LESS AND LESS SO AS YOU LOOK DOWN. GREAT SHOT, & VERY VERY WELL SEEN Link to comment
jeremy brotherton 0 Posted September 18, 2004 I like this. It's simple but keeps my intrested. For some reson I keep wishing the guy was sitting a seat over but thats me and it's very trivial. Link to comment
