Whitby's West Pier

Shot from a couple of inches to emphasize the grain in the weather

beaten Oak boards of the famous curved Pier.

This image truly pulled me in. In general I think it's hard to shoot a pier and get an original shot but I think you've done it. I love the view you choose along with great cropping. The contrast of the rugged beaten wooden boards and the soft sky is amazing. It's a 7/7 from me. Thanks for sharing.
