chris pencis 0 Posted January 1, 2001 What red filter did you use on this (red15?) - this is the depth of contrast I'm dying to get in my B/W. This is beautiful work. I'm just about to go buy some filters and am interested in what you carry with you regularly. Link to comment

robert goldstein 0 Posted February 13, 2001 This is easily one of the finest photos that I have seen on this site in a long time. I can look at it over and over without losing interest. Link to comment
rrfletcher 0 Posted March 6, 2001 The image is very emotional and heart grabbing. However...the fence in the center "breaking" the horizon is disturbing to me. If he had elevated himseld maybe a foot of two, he could had prevented it. Link to comment

terrence_kent 0 Posted June 12, 2001 watermark? on right edge, slight dust specks in sky (tho im in no position to speak, as my negs are all scratched, watermarked and dusty, BUT if i was to post one, i'd "clean it up" first:) otherwise great stuff, the horizon is just right with the fence as is, imho. sammm 0 Posted October 1, 2002 A photo brought back to the fore by "ratings normalization" -- this is wonderful, and I'd appreciate as much additional technical detail as you could! Link to comment
