This one of the best black and whites that I have seen in the past year. Great use of light and good decision to go b&w here. how did you get that perfect focus??

 

 

A sweet moment. I like the tight crop it has an almost catastrophic feel, everything not needed is not there. You are getting so good at telling these intimate stories which say so much with so little. Nice B&W conversion.

I got the good focus by being truly IN THERE FACE!

 

They don't care as they are used to it by now. The boy on the left was at Drama Camp (one of the leaders) and I had a camera in his face. The girl on the left has done modeling so she is used to it. I have about 10 shots of them hugging like this.

 

Most kids now WANT their pictures taken for their MYSPACE and such so they let you have a camera in their face. They know I won't do anhything wrong by them. :)
