Tidal pool

I shot this with a 4x5 Sinar and a 90mm 5.6 XL Super Angulon and

a .06 ND grad filter..

Hey Steve, This is a beautiful scene thats well composed. The problem (and my guess why the ratings are low) is the blown out clouds, you can see the detail in the reflection. Maybe a stronger nd grad next time?

Hey Ryan,,, Thank you for the feedback.. Much of this problem stems from compression of 4x5" tranny,,,,

its a great capture my friend ...its very beautiful landscape with nice composition .

This was a special place and I wish I would have stayed longer because,sadly I may never get the chance to return..

 

I'm not a big filter person but I know a scene like this warrents the use of a NDG or "two" ;)
