squirrelman 0 Posted July 27, 2002 I'm not familiar with the process, but the results are fabulous. Link to comment
choen 0 Posted July 28, 2002 I wonder if the model used was of somebody less beautiful, would the effect be the same. Link to comment
andrea_gingerich 0 Posted August 1, 2002 Cyantotypes are so beautiful and you've done this really well! I'm so envious that you've taught yourself these wonderful old techniques for modern photography. Link to comment
John Peri 1,038 Posted August 2, 2002 There is a remark above asking whether the photo would be as good if the model was less beautiful. It's rather like asking if the sauce would be as nice if the tomatos were less good. With all respect, it's a silly comment and I get them too. This is a beautiful glamour picture, highlighted through a very personal and attractive treatment of the print. I am sure that you photograph old ladies too. It may not be glamour anymore, but that will not stop the picture being equally interesting. Link to comment

vivid_dreams 0 Posted January 18, 2003 Emil, I enjoy printing my own photos as well and was wondering if anyone knows of anyplace to learn this sort of old style printing? Emil, All of your photos are amazing and make me more motivated to go out and take shots. Link to comment

jdrose 0 Posted October 20, 2006 In this particular case, the model's beauty is secondary. The pose, the sweep of her hair, the lighting, and the mystery in her eyes make the picture. The fact that she is gorgeous is icing on the cake. Nicely done. Link to comment
