eivind_larsen 0 Posted December 30, 2007 This is probably one of the most photographed locations in London, so it is not very original. However, your feedback on the execution of the photo is most welcome. What could be done better? Link to comment
seandepuydt 2 Posted December 30, 2007 Was the sky really that red? Interesting. - Sean Link to comment
eivind_larsen 0 Posted December 31, 2007 Thank you all for your feedback The sky was perhaps slightly more orange than this red colour. There are quite a lot of citylights in this area and it was overcast with some openings in the cloud cover. It was quite windy and the clouds were moving quite fast as well. White balance was set on Auto. 30sec f8.0 iso100. I added slight blur in photoshop to the river and the sky. The contrast in the scene was very high, the majority of the photo was a bit underexposed. I used the Levels in photoshop to expand the existing tonal range, and adjusted gamma to a suitable (in my opinion) slightly dark overall tone. Levels was applied to the whole photo overall, not masked. Link to comment
