gordonjb 10,860 Posted December 29, 2007 Great composition ,colours and light. The soft blur from motion seems just right. Enough to generate softness but still leaving plenty of details. The trees arching in towards the round light which looks to be the moon is a nice frame for the sky. This has a film noir feel and I'm not sure why. Link to comment
nichroe 0 Posted December 30, 2007 Thanks Gordon,,the soft i still like most, made some sharp one that day, but they were too sterile, for my taste, lost the mood-feeling, (The ever changing aesthetic-paradigm,, ;),,this one Parisian-noir-feelings, as you say, i love most, but fades some of the empty-cold-solitude mood. All the shots have something in common, but the mood is very different, maybe because of the light and the soft-level. The N152 keep up my intension, but maybe not the best one. 4 more to come, then end of the year,,,,wish you Happy New Year,,re niels Link to comment
gordonjb 10,860 Posted December 30, 2007 Yes I do know what you mean about motion adding mystery while at the same time taking away some of the solitude in this shot. There is always a give and take :) I am sometimes amazed at how different the mood can be for several shots of the same subject when only the amount of camera motion is changed. A Happy New Years to you and all the best for the coming year. I wish you lots of good pixels. Link to comment
trisha jean-angela 5 Posted December 2, 2011 I love the soft color and mood in this one. A very solitary feeling...not quite lonely though...I don't know why, but this one makes me happy to be alive. I am sure that's not a normal response...but then, I am not really normal! lol. That's just an honest statement about how this image makes me feel! Very well done. Thank you for sharing. :) Link to comment
