Scotland.Once connected to Greenland the Lewisian Gniess rock

contains some extraordinary colours, however no fossils as these

land masses were formed pre-life on earth!

Beautiful shot with the long exposure. It seems like the foreground rock may have been exposed by a flash. Or is it natural lighting? Peraps it was an unusual light scene as the hill beind also seem to be partially lit by a low setting sun. Also good to read the info on the rock. always increases the content and subject matter behind the photos.
