I like the use of limited range of tones in your image -- not every image must have a full tonal range in order to work; sometimes the message lies within the shortened range. It works on a gestalt level for me. Looks like those pilings are marching across the river towards that city, while the city is complacent, feeling safe. But that is just me. That is what I see. Thanks for sharing.
