arash khoshghadam 0 Posted December 28, 2007 this is a very technical piece of work with a very good composition. It boasts a very optically conductive forground with that three logs standing as an entry point and well placed on the golden point as an starting point for that diagonal move into the frame, riding the ripples to the dark hill on the left and to the sky.A very nice contrasty black and white. it gives me a sense of desolation. the only minor problem is the little over exposure right there near the logs. if you have used a split ND filter, can I ask what kind of metering mode you have used? estima 0 Posted December 28, 2007 Thank you for all the comments. For this photo I used a circular polarizer only. No ND filter. Anyway, in the original the foreground was little dark so I did two BW convertions. One for the clouds, mountains, etc and other for the foreground. Maybe the foregournd should be a little darker. What do you think? Link to comment
