hopsage 0 Posted January 3, 2008 Late September 2004, a dry camp overlooking the Van Horn Basin to the south. After more than a week of sub-freezing nighttime temperatures, it was unusually warm for this evening. As I sat and watch night come on, the full moon rose to the southeast over the hulking mass of Pueblo Mountain. Link to comment
hopsage 0 Posted January 3, 2008 Thank you, Mary. This has always been a personal favorite of mine. Great campsite, too, if you're willing to haul in all of your own water. Link to comment
iancoxleigh 0 Posted December 11, 2008 Absolutely outstanding! I love the colours palette -- the variety of colours all within the same sphere is delightful. I like the touches of gold and yellow in the brush and up on the slope particularly. The composition is strong too with the nice layers of texture and the beautifully balanced placement of the moon. This is an instant favourite. Link to comment
