Well shoot. How did I miss this one? Now THAT is how to spend Christmas Eve. Really beautiful, Tim. On framing the moon, I think there are two choices... well off center, or exactly centered, as you have it. Love that I can still make out foreground grass along with lunar features - tricky!

Great capture Tim. Love the fact that you have captured the details in the lower portion and yet can still see details on the lunar surface. The bands of purple really highlight the pale moon. The new camera and of course, you are really putting some great shots on PN. Kudos...RAY
