toni tasic 0 Posted December 24, 2007 Nice idea, but why crop the breast out? Feels alittle disbalanced as a result, and awkwardly high aspect-ratio. That might just be me. Toni Link to comment
william_hooks2 0 Posted December 24, 2007 I felt that this tight crop gave the best balance to the shot, and the model expressed that she was happy with the image. Thanks for looking- William Link to comment
macartney 0 Posted December 24, 2007 I like the idea and the execution. It has interesting potential. The green hair is great! But she is holding the katana completely wrong and it is disconnected from her body where the power comes from. She would be unable to move it because her arms and hands would get in the way and make it a weak hack and not a clean quick cut. It takes the energy out of the photo. She is also not looking at where she is cutting. I apologise -- but if you showed her swinging a baseball bat incorrectly or throwing a football weakly you would have any number of people commenting that the photo did not work for them. william_hooks2 0 Posted December 24, 2007 Your comments are well taken- she and I concepted this shot not as a martial arts image but as portraying her as a 'masthead' on a sailing vessel. We felt that as such the shot worked, and hope others will enjoy it. Thanks for reviewing my site, and best wishes this holiday. Link to comment
