jwhite3.0 0 Posted December 21, 2007 Hi Lisa, looks like you came across a fantastic scene while on a flight. One suggestion would be to crop some of the sky above. You want to be careful with cropping but I always say if there is a portion in a scene that doesn't add anything significant to the meaning it is open game for cropping. Other than that maybe a little color correction, drop in brightness, slight increase in contrast and hue. Hopefully this exaggerated version doesn't change your original vision too much. jwhite3.0 0 Posted December 21, 2007 oh yeah, make sure you upload photos that are less than 800 pixels across. when we click on your larger image it is bigger than my screen (1050 pixels). By decreasing the size your images will load faster and we won't have to scroll to see the entire image. just my 2 cents Link to comment
patrick j dempsey 1 Posted December 21, 2007 I really enjoy this shot.. the border sucks, get rid of the border and you have a great shot. I disagree with John on every other point. You have great light and color and contrast, its beautiful without looking fake. Also I really like your composition, the shape of the negative space is very well balanced. You DO have some pretty severe compression issues, but that might be just photo.net's upload. Kill the border, keep the square crop and you have a great image. Link to comment
