ajax 0 Posted March 18, 2003 IMHO, hair color, background color and fresh composition gives this image its mood. Gesture, lighting and those magnetic eyes finish the job. Reminds me of Valejo and Bell because of looks, but feels very different. Maybe Brom trying to be nice? :) Wonderful photo! Link to comment

schildt fine art photograp 0 Posted August 13, 2003 jim: thanks, and if I ever come to America, I'll let you know... Pascal... VERY simple lightning... one flash at her right side ( with a softbox) - and a golden reflector on the other side...that's all - keep it simple and use your eyes - then you can't miss....best regards.. pboraschi 3 Posted October 22, 2003 I know, I keep coming back to this photo. I have to say (or write!) it again. This light is simply amazing. Your highlights are so pure, your mids are perfect, and the shadows are strong. Contrast is perfect (ok, I'll stop) I love your work with light painting, but there's something with this photo, that keeps me coming back. I just enjoy looking at this photo. The catch light on her eyes is beautiful, her skin texture is very pure. I know you say "trust your eyes", but it takes years to achieve this kind of work. I was a pro musician when I was younger. I could play all night in clubs with my eyes closed, I knew where my fingers were going, where I was taking the music, I was in control.... Later Pascal Link to comment
