stp 6 Posted December 18, 2007 I like these wide-open shots with a single tree on the horizon, and you've set this against a great sky. Personally, I usually prefer to have the tree off-center. I think the centering works well on your vertical, up-close rendition, but on this wider landscape I think it would work better with the tree moved to the right (assuming no other structures to the left and continuing great clouds in that direction). je.barreto1 0 Posted December 18, 2007 "Painted sky" versus "sky painting"! I understand Stephen Penland but I prefer the first. "Painted sky" is a great photo! Is much more poetic and the world needs poetry! If I was the tree I would feel joyful in my almost infinite loneliness contemplating so wonderful roof. The roof painter is a great artist, no doubt!
