I like these wide-open shots with a single tree on the horizon, and you've set this against a great sky. Personally, I usually prefer to have the tree off-center. I think the centering works well on your vertical, up-close rendition, but on this wider landscape I think it would work better with the tree moved to the right (assuming no other structures to the left and continuing great clouds in that direction).

"Painted sky" versus "sky painting"! I understand Stephen Penland but I prefer the first. "Painted sky" is a great photo! Is much more poetic and the world needs poetry! If I was the tree I would feel joyful in my almost infinite loneliness contemplating so wonderful roof. The roof painter is a great artist, no doubt! That's a simple yet strong composition with gorgeous colors and an enormous soul. Best regards.
