This was taken on the streets. it is not posed in the strict sense

-the model was not aware of me. i was interested in turning something

rather ordinary (a girl sitting on steps) into a pseudo-fine-arts

print. Not sure if i succeded, although i was rather surprised by the

results. Your comments are appreciated.

well, it was taken on the street :-)

sometimes one does everything 'wrong' -- and it works out perfectly! of course, somehow this seems to be mainly, if not exlusively, the case for the most experienced photographers.

 

compositionally, this photo is on a par with a Matisse. it might be 'underexposed' for a studio shot; but, as street photography, this lighting perfectly evokes the last light of dusk.

Seems more like it should be in protraits or fine art.

No matter what category, it's still gorgeous. I love the darkness and very feminine pose. It has a mysterious and sensual feel.
