cjtj50 0 Posted December 17, 2007 I do really like the way this whole picture is of Lunchtime at ChaCha's. The colors pop out of this picture wonderfully, the tiled floor and the flower pots add a nice touch. Great work Jeff. Take care Link to comment

katzpjs 50 Posted December 18, 2007 Based upon a comment by Jeff on a different image I was going to suggest that the reason the table is so empty and clean is because someone inhaled the food before it could dirty the table? I too noticed the irregularity with the tablecloth that Dave mentioned at the top of this queue of comments. The table appears to be round but the near folds in the cloth by the dark purple chair don't seem to support its round shape. One of those phenomenons of physics and photography that will never be solved. I like the scene and your PS work to make it much more interesting. Link to comment
skyjammer 0 Posted December 18, 2007 How goes it, my old PN friend?! :-) This image exudes a half-animated/half-realistic aura when I look at it, like it's almost 'phasing' in & out of existence. I know that may seem or sound a bit "out there", so to speak, but that phrase aptly describes my reaction to this photo. Excellent work. Let me also take the opportunity to voice my compliments of the season to you. May the lord bless you and your household abundantly this Xmas, and may he bless you beyond your expectations in 2008. Best regards, -Ade Link to comment

jcpopper 0 Posted December 18, 2007 As usual, I'm late. I have to come back several times to figure out what it is that I find so interesting and attractive about the images you've been creating recently In this one, there is a wonderful and curiously jarring contrast between the almost concrete "solidity" of the objects and their near-pastel colors. It is a fascinating, eerie effect. Bravo! Regards, Joe Link to comment
paula grenside 0 Posted December 18, 2007 I like the chairs of different colors, Jeff, and the rendering you chose is very effective. Link to comment

laurent_jaussi 0 Posted December 25, 2007 I am usually not a big fan of heavy image treatment...but I really like this image....first I like the composition with the progression from fore- to background, its equilibrium and balance in terms of colors is also what strikes me...not a false note to be found and a sweet and soft mood...as if the world has turned all of a sudden into something peaceful, colorful and sweet....at least we would all need it could turn like this at least for a while sometimes... Jeff, I want to wish you a wonderful Xmas time and holiday period as well as the best start for 2008.......also thank you for your thoughts, comments and support... Link to comment
mcclure 0 Posted December 26, 2007 Of your last 3 posts -- this is the easiest to comment about. Hand colored B&Ws were very popular but the graphic aspect you added to the contours pays off beautifully against the tiled floor. The photographic becomes more graphic as it ascends while the eye plays off the diagonal chair color relationships.Reading over the comments, I'm guessing you chose to leave the table cloth untextured to emphasize the missing place settings and pay off the story.Best, john Link to comment
