rohit___perpetual_chonking 0 Posted July 26, 2002 I would prefer to see the bikini model closer and the big ugly american gas guzzeler away from the camera. Just my preference though. Link to comment
alex_taylor 0 Posted July 30, 2002 I really love your work, it's some of the most beautiful black & white work I've seen on this site! You've certainly mastered it.. good job! Link to comment
blago 0 Posted October 24, 2002 It is a very beautiful photo. And this ugly American car is just in place, imo. I want to believe that it is a candid shot, that the girl is alone, and that she was the driver. A man wouldn't stop in the sand or left the car covers and doors open. Is she in a bad mood, lying a little unnatural - not to look at the sea? Or all this was staged and ordered by some magazine? Blago Link to comment
iwmac 0 Posted October 24, 2002 This was a candid shot, but as I recall there were other people with her. Link to comment

LenMarriott 9 Posted February 17, 2005 Ian, I didn't know Michigan was in Canada. Thanks for the geography update. :) Great story telling shot regardless of location. Best, LM. Link to comment
iwmac 0 Posted February 17, 2005 Relocated to the correct side of Lake Huron. The photo uploaded just before this must have had a Michigan location. Thanks for pointing out my geographical displacement. Link to comment
tammy_tracy 0 Posted February 17, 2005 I think your portfolio is groovy. Way groovy! Raucous, juicy, hilarious--and very, very real. Thank you. Link to comment
Landrum Kelly 65 Posted February 17, 2005 Yeah, that's it: groovy. "How often you do hear anybody say that around here?" (George Hansen [Jack Nicholson] in _Easy Rider_) Groovy shot, Ian. Very groovy. Link to comment
dievee 0 Posted November 24, 2006 Hi Ian, oh I adore this image. It looks so realistic a bit like a dream and at the same time it has someting dreamy that is not from this earth. I love the composition, the open parts of the car and the fact that the car is so near to the see and pointed to the sea and the lady away from the sea, a wonderfull combination in a wonderfull composition leading to an image with a very strong and strange mood and impact.
