aline1 0 Posted December 12, 2007 The Oriente Station of Lisbon is located in Parque das Nacoes, the new part of Lisbon reconstructed for the Internation Exhibition "Expo 1998". Designed by Santiago Calatrava. The picture was made on the first floor, in the opened part of this beautiful building. So I'm afraid this one is not representative of its amazing architecture. But it is another atomsphere. Link to comment
bretsch 0 Posted December 12, 2007 All the contrary Aline, this is a remarkable architectural picture, the repetition and the play with the reflection of the structure in the glass all ad up for a magnificent feat. Your picture comes to show that you don?t need to focus on the whole of a building to capture its essence. Congratulations on a great photo! Link to comment
acarodp 0 Posted April 24, 2009 This is probably the one foto of yours I like best. the geometry strong, and the division between the "exact" and the "distorted" version of the structure is quite eye-catching. But it is the blurred figure which really makes the photo. I will have to borrow here a comment I received myself (and I would say it applies even better here): it looks almost like a Giacometti sculpture. Really well done! L. Link to comment
