cherlyn 1 Posted December 10, 2007 The snowy winding montain road that we took to travel to Yading due to the closure of the actual route bec of some disputes between the villagers & the Central Government. About 3000-4000m above sea level. Thanks for viewing & feedback. Link to comment

ffrank 0 Posted December 13, 2007 Nice image of a very harsh landscape. That road looks kind of hazardous Cherlyn. I hope you had a good driver. Link to comment
cherlyn 1 Posted December 13, 2007 We have a very experienced driver, Frank. You are right, the road is hazourdous, not normally travelled by drivers & esp not tourists. Weak hearted drivers can't take this route. Many times we have to disembark from our van to walk ( as we are too heavy:-)) on difficult raod sections. We even need to get down to push the van once when it was stuck in the snow. It was nightfall when we finally reached the village. If the main road is not closed, we won't be travelling this route & would have missed lots of beautiful sceneries. Link to comment
