Illuminated - My friends emptied their pool and my brother got to skate it.

Any criticism would be appreciated. I wanted to get the shadow in the

pool but the flash would always white it out so I kept the shutter

open for a few seconds to get the desired effect via the pool light.

should have found a way to steady the camera which would have avoided the blur.

It was on a tripod. The only way to minimize the blur would have been the flash which would have flashed out the shadow. I had to leave the shutter open longer so the pool light would cast the shadow.

I think this is a very cool shot. i like the shadow, and as you said, you would have lost that with a flash. I took it into p-shop and played a bit (hope you dont mind). I like the top cropped out. I also messed with the saturation and toned it down a bit. I really like this photo which is why i wanted to mess around. Good job. And stay creative!

I like what you did the photo. For the most part I don't like messing with Photoshop much aside from removing artifacts I don't want. But maybe I'll start playing with it more again to make shots look better.
