It was a shutter speed of 1/100th of a second with a late curtain flash. I panned the action and that's it really.

Thank you for your recent comment. I chose this image to comment on because of the sharpness, action and lighting and the fact it is different than a lot of your beautiful landscape images so it really stands out at the end. Well done as are the rest of your body of work. Kudos rek.

I quite like this one I do. Love how the panning action freezes the chaps you were panning with and blurs those coming toward us... Bravo!
