thadley 15 Posted December 2, 2007 What a range of colors and forms combing to make this very visually attractive. The 'b&W" sky - well - not too sure about it because my eyes are constantly drawn there. In any event an exceptional image. congrats. 6/6 Link to comment
whydangle 0 Posted December 2, 2007 THX Bob, Michael and Tony for the comments. I would say a yay and a nay for the nuetral sky. Actually, the sky is displaying a cool gray and even blue in the darker clouds, but it is offset by the richer blue in the ridges. I chose not to add blue because it simply is not there in the original, but since this is a blend of exposures it may be conflicting info in the image files. As a purist, I would say it is the way it is, as an artist I would say it looks original and offers a fresh rendition and as a Photographer I would say it makes for three distinct zones. I would also say, however, that I can see the potential for distraction. Link to comment
