Beautiful, evocative, delicate colours and composition.

The beauty of the scenery, the misty haze of the sunset with the abstract pattern of boats on water against the shape of the mountains receding into the distance, creates a sense of timeless tranquility.

This is one of my favorite photos on this site. Excellent composition, and amazing colors. I wonder how you turned on the red lights in the house on the rigth? Well it certainly adds to the atmosphere. A clear 7/7 shot.

Exquisite photograph. Such beautiful light, the mist off the water, and of course the unexpected light from the house. An easy 7 and I've grown quite stingy with my sevens this year.

The square crop is so perfect for this image. Your ability to compose an image is something we should all aspire to. You use the river and the moored boats to lead the viewer straight into the image, and then the eye snaps to the red lights in the building on the right side and then it is on to the mountain and sky in the background. This image is a lesson in composition, exposure and processing. Your work is inspiring! Cheers!
