Alberta, Erik, yes this is the Wolong Conservation centre where Panda baby bears are produced, conserved & trained to look after themselves, & released back to the wild, their natural environment in Wolong. In the centre, the Pandas are allowed freedom ( not chained or caged, though they have their own comfortable house & playground )& they do not do performance at all, but allowed interaction with humans for 5-15 mins after their feeding time. Pandas are endangered species & very difficult to reproduce. This project in the conservation centre has helped to increased the number of Pandas tremendously.
