My first time back to Bolsa Chica in California for quite some time.

Perfect timing... wonderful capture... When I was a kid what is now known as Bolsa Chica State Beach was Tin Can Beach. It was a wonderful, if dangerous to the toes, beach littered with unimaginable amounts of old rusty cans, broken glass and assorted detritus where you could camp for as long as you liked without being bothered by anyone. Now it is just another upscale neighborhood complete with 'canals', boats, McMansions and ambience... Me, I long for the old days before it was ruined... Pave paradise, put in a parking lot...
