jerrymat 5 Posted December 15, 2007 ...as well as the composition. Somehow, though it looks too dark, something like the effect in movies where they shoot during the day but use filters and exposure to make it appear to be night. The sky is too blue for night. Link to comment
lunarlight 0 Posted January 27, 2008 Thanks for the comments. I think what you are seeing in the image tonality may be from the moon being rapidly swallowed up by a bank of high clouds. I was hoping for star trails that night but got clouded out. The flat, attenuated lighting under the clouds looks odd compared to the bright lighting in the distance where the moon was still shining brightly. That is why the distant sky is so bright. - Kit Link to comment
