Hi Sondra. Good to see new postings from you. The IR rendition makes the canyon look like a water color, is this due to shallow DOF? Anyway, it works for me. What does not work for me are the flag-stripe-like dark clouds on the upper left, they look like damage I have seen on film in the past. Cheers, J

Hi J, thanks for your comment. My camera is digital so that is not damage to the film but, just nature doing her thing. Sondra

Hi Sondra, I am also very glad to see you posting on here again......While I surely don't agree with J. I do think it is alot more of different strokes for different folks.......I wonder what J. would have thought if he had seen a gallery show in Ft. Wayne, Indiana a few years back. I part of the gallery was a traveling Ansel Adams show of perhaps 75 or so of his superb prints and in the other remaining area there were several dozen prints by someone I had never heard of or seen any of the prints published. They were all printed very dark with the closest tone in any of the prints being near white was a Zone V middle grey and none were night scenes....Here again I just had to say it was a matter of different strokes for different folks......Jim

Hi Sondra, I do realize that your camera is digital. I just meant that the shadows on those clouds remind me of damaged film. It is, nonetheless, a very nice image. Cheers, J
