jeffl7 0 Posted November 28, 2007 Classy shot. A great use of the "bones" of the building to bring organization and rhythm to the shot. Link to comment

mcpoljak2003 0 Posted January 10, 2008 I think I shall visit this place when I visit London next month. I think it's not far from where I'm staying in Soho. Any good places for a bite to eat and a pint near here? Link to comment
shadowcatcher 0 Posted January 10, 2008 Loads of them, Soho is the funky place for food and booze (used to be seedy and where the strip joints were). China town is good for food (cheap) and so is Covent Graden (Palms Brasserie do nice food but not cheap). King's Cross St Pancras is even more impressive outside and worth a visit (looks like the Houses of Parliament). Good views of London can be got by walking over Westminster Bridge and walking allong the river (down to Tower Bridge). St Pauls is another amazing piece of architecture and the O2 arena is worth a look for modern stuff (get the river boat or tube there and not the bus, that can be dodgey). Make sure you also go to the British Museum (my hospital is around the corner) and the Natural History Museum (the interior is always in films), amazing places for pictures. London is a great place for photography but as I work here, all I want to do is get the hell out at weekends for my chlororphyll injection. I look forward to your snaps Sir. Kev Link to comment
mcpoljak2003 0 Posted January 13, 2008 Thanks for the tips. I'm looking forward to the trip. Who knows, perhaps we'll have a chance meeting in the Tube. Wouldn't that just beat all?! Link to comment
mcpoljak2003 0 Posted March 23, 2008 Well, I did make it here to catch a train to Paris, but I was very running very late and did not get a chance to walk up the stairs to this vantage point. Guess I'll have to save it for my next trip. MP> Link to comment
