First of all, a beautiful scene with great depth. I find the sidewalk overpowers the rest of the image... If you don't hold a grudge on me :-)... how about this crop? Mike

It's the mood set by the family and the colorful foliage that makes this image worth discussing, but the downside is nothing is sharply focused. I would like to have the foreground leaves sharply focused so the cropping could include the near foreground, then place the group at 1/3 from the top, and crop out some of the upper foliage. Without sharp foreground leaves, there is no choice but to crop them out as earlier suggested.

One way to effect this goal is to focus about 10-20 feet out rather than at the group (virtually infinity) to bring the foreground leaves into sharper focus and allow the group focus to suffer since it would be less apparent because of the distance. This shot had the potential for very high ratings, but falls short because of technical problems other than exposure. Darn! What a loss for all of us.

I do love the crop ! I intended on trying to get it all in focus but ended up with the leaves in the foreground... Something about the image as a whole got to me...

Lamar thanks for your input I will take it into consideration, I was on a hike and this "School" came walking thru that was the image captured.. I'm not sure I agree with all of your comments however you have valid points.. thank you so much for your input...
