Its unfortunate but the cigarettes are out of focus and the highlights are blown out. It would be an interesting photo otherwise.

they weren't out of focus as you can see the pack itself is. It's motion blur with the cigarettes. i couldn't use a faster shutter speed here. and I added contrast to emphasize the blurred butts to pretend that the motion blur is a part of the idea.

i'll work on this concept when i get better lighting equipment. This time I used the built-in flash reflected upwards and a pile of white carton placed just above and on the sides

To be honest, I hadn't realized the cigs were moving. If you were trying to capture the motion blur, perhaps experiment with a slower shutter speed. Just a thought.
