Lake Tasman Iceberg

I like the shot. Curious as to what caused the iceberg to look so dark? Dirt?

Ash? In any case, it certainly does have a unique color and texture and dominates this shot. Well composed and captured.

Actually the colour of the icebergs is due to the fact that Tasman Glacier has been gradually melted and thinned, and its surface has become covered in moraines ? piles of rocks and sediment deposited by the glacier.
