cherlyn 1 Posted November 20, 2007 This place is known as photographer's paradise. Everywhere you go, the landscape is painted for you. This is taken with a typical Tibetian house set against the beuatiful mountain backdrop. Don't understand they Tibetian words there , but it's very common to find works carved on the mountaines using stones. Thanks for visiting. Link to comment

j_m_lee_photography 0 Posted November 20, 2007 The mantra Om Mani Padme Hum is found written on this hill. The Tibetan house added a charm to it. Link to comment
alberta_pizzolato 21 Posted November 20, 2007 Beautiful photo, wonderful story. I had to Google the mantra and was so pleased to learn that Tibetan Buddhists believe that saying the mantra, out loud or silently to oneself, invokes the powerful benevolent attention and blessings of Chenrezig, the embodiment of compassion. Good to know. Thanks for sharing another wonderful work! Cheers - Link to comment
shots worth sharing 1 Posted November 20, 2007 It's a wonderful photo. My only suggestion would be to crop out the railing at the bottom. Link to comment
