I think that this is a Tawney Eagle. This picture was taken at the

World Bird Sanctuary in St Louis, MO where my daughter works. I

would like to know what you think of it.

That eye and the beak give it such a thoughful expression. The focus might be a little soft but in this particular photo it doesn't bother me a bit. And the color palette is just wonderful. Lucky lady to work in such a place. Lucky lady to have a Dad with a camera and who knows how to use it :) Cheers -
