I think this is a good commercial fashion photo. Why? Because the ultimate question is always how well a photo fullfills its task. This photo presents the dress in a very tempting, intimate and sexual way - and it would sell the dress. A woman looking at this add would imagine herself looking like her, a man looking at it would think how good her lady would look in that one.
