chrisvest 1 Posted November 16, 2007 kind of a hammy title, but i couldn't think of anything better... Link to comment
nadopix 0 Posted November 17, 2007 Cool--I was wondering are the difference between the frames digitalized or did you take them at different seasons? No problem either way, just curious. Link to comment
chrisvest 1 Posted November 17, 2007 thanks folks. tim, the sole image of a friend's driveway near victor idaho is indeed heavily "manipulated" -- like just about every other piece in my portfolio--in this case to create the illusion of seasons. but lest anyone think that it's just a matter of slapping a couple 'filters' on an image to tweak it this way or that, it still took me many hours of work to produce the final products. whats great about PS is that trail and error can produce so many variations, and in this case, i liked a number of variations and decided to contrast a few of the manifold possibilities... here's the original. kinda boring. thanks for you interest. cheers, chris Link to comment
rascal64 9 Posted November 17, 2007 Really nice work. It definitely has your signature on it. I have seen variations on this theme. But, your particular brand of coloring that always gives a somewhat animated feeling really sets this apart from others that I have seen based on this idea. Link to comment
pnfphotography 0 Posted November 19, 2007 I just love this idea and how well works with the same subject matter in different seasonal color. Link to comment
baerbel 0 Posted November 19, 2007 I really like this. Wonderful colour variations. Reminds me a lot of Monet's Haystacks, which also shows them in different seasons. B ;) Link to comment
robert semnic 0 Posted December 12, 2007 why did you decide to put the low resolution? Is it maybe cellphone-camera shot? Link to comment
