katherineerickson 0 Posted November 16, 2007 Hi Dan, I like the light on the water in the foreground. It may be a bit too much in the background. I definitely like the tones and mood. Overall it is a very lovely image. Congrats Katherine Link to comment
danbliss 0 Posted November 16, 2007 Hey Katherine, thank you for the comment. I could trying burning the upper part of the image a bit to darken it. Because it was a cloudy, misty day, I think this is how I felt about the moment. However, that can be a trap. I will think about it. Thanks again. Your comments are very much appreciated. mike_stemberg 40 Posted November 16, 2007 Beautiful vista!...and to slightly disagree with Katherine's assessment I love the movement of water around the rocks except for what I see as a slight 'blow-out' there. This could very well be white foam?! Otherwise as near perfect as one can get! Regards ~ Mike Link to comment

danbliss 0 Posted November 18, 2007 Mike, Ebru and Tim, thank you for your kind comments. The white is the time elapse effect of waves breaking over the rocks. It is a little blown out, but, at least in the large version, I thought there was enough texture around it. It is tough to get that "right" though. Once again, I appreciate your comments greatly. danbliss 0 Posted November 19, 2007 Thanks PNF. It is funny, because I was so-so on it when I first took it, but it has really grown on me over time. Dan Link to comment
