kittybuddha 0 Posted December 15, 2007 Anything I could have done to make this better? Link to comment
ned1 0 Posted December 15, 2007 Do you really need the red stripe? The composition has a strong diagonal movement and, to my eyes, the verticality of the stripe just detracts from it. If you want to keep the stripe, have you considered one of more diagonal stripes? Link to comment
maria_di_liegro 0 Posted December 15, 2007 I agree with the previous commenter that you don't need the stripe, but for a different reason. You've made the model look beautiful here and there is a lot going on with the color of her hair, the hairstyle, the flower in her hair, the makeup, her features, the fabric she is wearing, etc., etc., that I think it pulls attention away from the model who is quite interesting here. Could you post the shot for us without the stripe, please? Maria Link to comment

rob wray 0 Posted December 15, 2007 Very effective, you are going to get all types of replies to this regarding the stripe,as there are so many different tastes out there. I actaully like it, as for the overall image 7/7 ther lighting and pose including the crop are perfect Well done. Rob Link to comment

kittybuddha 0 Posted December 19, 2007 Thanks, everyone! I'd like to see what it looks like with out the stripe too but I'm not a good enough Photoshop artist to eliminate it. She was standing behind a sheet of plexiglass with film over it, hence the color. I feel like I retouch too heavily but I like the overall "shimmering" effect on the skin. Link to comment
patricklavoie 1 Posted September 1, 2010 the image and color look good, the skin just look too soft.. maybe reduce this *effect* a bit or had a bit more sharpen and skin texture and your good to go ; ) Link to comment
