Thomas, this picture was shot in the Niamey great market, one year ago. If you take time to speak, it's rather easy to get in touch with with people. it was, particularly the last day before ramadan, just before the evening prayer time, and everythng had slowed down in the tiny shops and streets.

I went back to Niger in october, but I felt the mood much more tense. Was it the political situation, that is realy bad or was it my own mood?
