Breaking Rules

I broke the rule of thirds. Rules are made to be broken right?

No problem about breaking the rule of three-it's a nice shot (but blue trees?)

Don't mind the rules, they were made to be broken, they're great guidelines or learning tools but not to be followed every time. The picture is outstanding, I see no flaw in the composition, and the colors are great. Congratulations!

This was taken in the early afternoon in a shady canyon. The light was bouncing off the canyon walls from behind the camera sending warm light onto the wall and not reaching the shady background to the right. Maybe the trees need a little white balance adjustment?

I totally agree with you. I neve follow rules either, not the Rule of third, not the rule of off-centred subject. :-) Captivating image you got here, symmetrically so well atuned.
