The composition and handling of the water is good, but the photo comes off a bit soft, likely from movement. The contrast could be boosted to help a bit too.

First of all let me say this is a very good capture of a waterfall; but my comments would be that it lacks something that snaps out at the viewer. The colors seem a little muted and the image does seem to tilt a little to the right. I took the liberty of bumping the highlights and shadows a tad, but did not try to straighten. It is a nice enough image that it caught my attention though!

Jim,Micheal, Thanks very much for the comments, very much appreciated.I can only think the softness is down to movement as I can't actually find any part of the shot that is pin sharp.I use a benbo trekker tripod but I think I recall the arm was at max extension to get the low angle so maybe thats it.The exposure does lack some contrast and I think this might be a combination of too much ND filtering?? and the light was coming from completely the wrong direction.I could only spend a few minutes there.Next year I plan to return and shoot this in the morning when the light will be coming from the right which will better light the trees to the left and the foreground. Thanks again guys,I find this very useful.Tony
