trevor_anderson 0 Posted November 9, 2007 It was particularly an inability to adequately capture this area with the given width of my lens that prompted such compositional focus in this image. I am quite thankful I had such shortcomings at that time. Link to comment
celasun 0 Posted November 9, 2007 Very nice composition with beautiful rendering of the mood. I think a slightly higher vantage point (which should result in a nice framing of the tree at lower left) could have made this photo a "classical". Still, it is among the finest of the landscape photographs I've seen in a while... Congratulations. Link to comment
acmorrill 0 Posted November 9, 2007 Simply fantastic! I am VERY impressed. Amazing depth, detail, color and range of tones. And very unique. Was this an HDR image? I'm wondering how you got such detail from highlights to shadows. Or maybe two exposures pasted together? (as the highlights in the trees seem to not carry over into the reflection) Very powerful image. 7/7 Link to comment

anish 0 Posted November 9, 2007 beautiful composition, trevor! even if it was a lack of wide angle that prompted you to find this composition, you've done a great job framing it and have exposed it perfectly. Anish Link to comment

chris_conrad 0 Posted January 2, 2008 This is a terrific image, Trevor. Well composed, well lit, etc. I like that you did not include the actual summit itself--only the reflection. Great work. ~chris Link to comment
clayton_berg 0 Posted January 14, 2008 So much to like here... I like how how the light hits the mountain peaks, which is only seen in reflection which somehow makes it even better. This photo is also very sound composition wise. Very different from your typical mountain/lake shot, which is something that has been beaten to death. I wish I had taken this one, congrats.
