michaelging 1 Posted November 9, 2007 Fergus, I cropped your photo a little to get rid of the white window in the upper left hand corner which pulls the viewers eye away from Kat. I also adjusted the contrast a little and burned down the people in the background. I like the expression and composition which works very well with this photo. I will delete my version if you wish. I'm now trying to avoid cropping my photos as I'd like a consistent format and want to work on taking the photo I want, rather than editing after. Not decided on the darkening in the background, but I suppose I did not want a straight portrait, more a portrait with context.. Link to comment
